  • We are all called to be missionaries no matter where our home is. One of the goals of ACTION is to provide an opportunity for you to SHINE into another part of the globe.  There you will work alongside our missionaries that respond to God's call on their lives everyday - the call to proclaim the love, forgiveness and mercy of Jesus Christ to the least reached in our world. Our Fresno regional office will be hosting the orientation & training in 2011. We are looking for athletes, videographers, a doctor or nurse, photographers, administrators, athletic trainers, and coaches to join our teams. Read on if you are interested in a summer mission.

Program Structure:

ACTION is a four to eight week program that gives you the opportunity to engage in cross-cultural missions.

 

6-Week ACTION Teams Schedule:

   Orientation  July 1-7 - Training for all teams in Fresno

   Assignment  July 8-Aug 7 - Teams serving in countries

   Debrief  Aug 8-14- Complete debrief after lunch on Sun, May 30

 

3-Week Thailand Basketball Teams Schedule:

   Orientation  July 1-6 - Training camp for all teams in Fresno

   Assignment  July 7-21- Serving in Thailand

   Debrief  July 22-24 - Complete debrief after lunch on Sun, July 24 

 

Participant Requirements:
ACTION is open to individuals 17 years and older. Some of our specialty teams have special requirements - please see "Assignment" tab for specific info. Families are welcome on some of our teams as well.  


Cost:
$2,300 USD/CAD plus additional costs (i.e. international flights, passport, vaccinations, etc.)
