Biography: Trever and Joan started ministry with Youth for Christ in Saskatoon for five years, then went to seminary to prepare for a life of cross cultural missions. They invested 14 years in Colombia, South America, four years at Bethany College as missions director, and in December of 2005 they returned to Latin America, Guadalajara, Mexico.

As we look back over several years of cross cultural ministry, one word seems to describe what we were doing – “training”. In Colombia it mainly focused on “discipleship” towards spiritual formation, but this often led towards “training” for full time ministry. As we start our new ministry in Mexico, we believe much of it will be in “training” people to go to the nations.
