It was during wartime that Karim*, who was a soldier, began to question his belief in Allah. He had witnessed the brutal murder of a woman and wondered how killing innocent bystanders could be justified by Muslims. Karim decided to read through the Koran, the Muslim holy book, and was surprised to find that the killing of “infidels” was allowed.

Called to Serve Print
Ganiga was born and raised in the village of Ang Sila in Thailand. As a child, her older family members taught her how to play poker and she was very good at it. But as Ganiga played poker more and more, this grew into a gambling addiction. She borrowed a lot of money to maintain her addiction and was soon deep in debt.

“I am 19 years old and I live in a village. I always watch your TV programs because they contain spiritual food for me. I have memorized the show times and invite my friends to watch with me. Sometimes we are as many as 17 women. After the testimonies and the message from the Bible at the end of the program, we are always on our knees praying and experiencing the presence of God. Thank you so much! Please continue in the work you are doing!”

But his plans for the day changed when he received a phone call from their local social worker. Andy was asked to be the translator and MC of the Chonburi Fair Parade in Thailand!

Extending Hope Print
Shekhar was tired of going from temple to temple in search of healing. It never worked. Shekhar was only in his teens but he had a disease that would turn his skin pigment white and leave him disfigured. Although his family had taken him to many Hindu temples to be prayed for by the priests, their prayers had not been answered. Life seemed hopeless.
