Accepting a call to full-time ministry with MBMS International began with a phone call from Randy Friesen. I had been working in business consulting and Information Technology for the past 20 years when Randy asked if I would consider joining him at MBMSI to work as his assistant.  After many months of prayer, our family felt that this was clearly the path God was calling us to.

In late July of 2005, we left Waterloo Ontario, where we had lived for the past 10 years, to move to Abbotsford BC. Randy and his family were the only people we knew in the city. For our family, it has felt like a missions trip even though we are still in Canada. All of our family and friends were left behind in Ontario as we went to serve in ministry.

Shortly after arriving, it became clear that the scope of work at MBMSI was far greater than anticipated and Randy asked me to begin work as the Operations Officer in addition to giving direction to IT. My background in Systems Design Engineering as well as business consulting experience has help me to support the overall Lead Team as we continue to strengthen the infrastructure at MBMSI.

As the years have progressed, I have been undertaking a number of different roles to offer my services wherever needed the most.
