Merry Christmas Friends and Family!
We wish we could celebrate Christ’s birth and enjoy your friendship this Christmas! Our hearts are with you, “But the love of Christ urges us on because we are convinced that one has died for all!” 2Cor. 5:14
We are having tons of fun throwing Christmas parties and sharing the true meaning of Christmas with our Thai friends and neighbours. God continues to blow our minds with all that he is doing to bring Thai people into friendship with Christ. Last week, a women came to our ladies cell group for the first time. She had read a small book about Jesus 2 years ago and wanted to follow Jesus. Only one problem: she didn’t know any Christians!
Then, 2 weeks ago she met a lady from our church who is a house cleaner. When she heard Noy say that she could not take care of her idols and clean them, she was not offended. Strangely, she was excited to learn that Noy was a follower of Jesus! “Finally, I have met someone who can tell me more about Jesus!” she said. Noy invited her to our cell group the next day and we saw with amazement that there was a deep faith in this women’s heart. She heard the message of Christ’s love, forgiveness and power over death and was ready, that very day, to commit her life to Christ! Amazing isn’t, that some people are only waiting to meet a Christian so that they can know how to believe!
We pray that God would bless you and keep you in the light and love of his presence this Christmas!
