Just to let you all know that we are here in Lopburi (also known as "monkey town") in central Thailand, which will be our home for the next year or so. We have been getting "oriented" to this medium size town, and the language training center located here, as well as our teachers and fellow students.

Our home is a 3 bedroom concrete place with lots of wooden floors and many windows, which is a good thing, because we do not have any air conditioners, only several fans. Central Thailand is the hottest part of the country, and it is about the hottest time of year (actually April-May). It is the rainy season but it hasn't rained since we left Bangkok about 5 days ago. Still, very hot and humid.

We are really looking forward to actually beginning classes next week. It is still very frustrating to not be able to answer all the questions of the curious.

Please keep us in your prayers, that we will learn the language quickly and well. Pray that we will stay focused on the goal on communicating the love and grace of Jesus to those in darkness.
