PASTOR PHONE KEO DOESN'T HAVE CANCER!
A few weeks ago, MBMS International worker Phone Keo shared with Randy Friesen, General Director, that doctors suspected he had colon cancer. Immediately, people around the world started praying for his healing. Last week, his test results came back reporting Phone Keo does not have cancer! What a wonderful answer to the many prayers that have been offered on his behalf!
Phone Keo and his wife Chansone minister to Khmu people in North America and Southeast Asia. They work with Butler MB Church in Fresno and our MBMS International team in Southeast Asia to develop leadership training courses and seminars.

JOHN'S TRANSFORMATION
Some of our team members just returned from India where they were witness to some amazing testimonies. John* currently a youth leader in a Northern village, spent five years working in Africa. He went to Africa with the goal to get away from his village in India and from God. When he tried to cross a border boundary, he was imprisoned because he had lost some of his documents.
While in prison, he started to suffer horrible pain from a kidney stone and was prepared to do anything to stop the pain. He called out in desperation: "Jesus, Jesus".   He called out to God, promising to serve him if he lived and ever got home.  As he finished praying, he started to throw up and actually spit up the kidney stone!
Soon after, his papers were found and he was released to go home.
John's healing went so much deeper than his physical relief and many in the village refer to him as pastor. He loves to share his salvation story as often as he can. He has been transformed!
*John's real name has been changed to protect his identity.

FAMILY TRANSITIONS . . .
Several years ago, Dave & Alexandra Rempel, along with their daughters, Sarahya (9) and Marie Zofia (5) were mobilized to Bavaria as pastors in Bad Reichenhall. This community has become their home. The Rempels recently made the decision to resign from pastoring and to take on the role of teaching, coaching and consulting within a business context in the same community. This is not an entirely new role to Dave as he has been doing some of this work on a part time basis to supplement his pastoral income.
Alexandra's health has been poor these past few months, leading even to hospitalization. Thankfully, she has experienced an improvement in her overall health, due to God's grace, excellent medical care and the loving care by many around her.
We praise God for Alexandra's renewed health and strength. She has been released from the hospital and is convalescing well.
Dave and Alexandra have received personal encouragement from many around them through this time, from community friends and neighbors to fellow missionaries and co-workers. In addition, MBMSI support staff has walked alongside the Rempels encouraging both Dave and Alexandra to take some time away from their pastoral responsibilities.
Dave & Alexandra will continue to be supported through MBMSI until July 31st. If you have a desire to support them through their transition, please forward your funds to MBMS International, 302-32025 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, B.C. We look forward to seeing them personally later this spring. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
