TRANSFORMATION IN INDIA by Paul Dyck

In February, I had the opportunity to travel to India to resource churches and encourage some of our missionaries.
While there, I met with Madhu, a national Indian believer, who shared his church planting strategy with me.
The first step for Madhu is to walk through a village where there are no known Christians  and pray. Madhu patiently builds relationships and waits on the Lord to do His work.
In time, God works a miracle in one of the villager's lives that is transformational! Soon a house church starts. It isn't long before a number of people have come to Christ.
Once a group of 10 people are following Christ, Madhu helps them plant their own church.
Madhu then assigns a pastor that he has been mentoring.  He plants pastors in their home communities, trains them and expects them to remain in that community for life.
This is Madhu's strategy, an investment into people. His dedication to church planting, to people and to Jesus is bringing life changing transformations one village at a time.

TREK TEAM UPDATE: NORTH AFRICA by Jake, Jeremy, Sonja & Sharalin.
We have been in North Africa for 25 days and have been very busy. Recently we traveled to a city where we met 200 pastors and leaders.
We were with them for the whole week and it was wonderful.  Even though we couldn't communicate very well with the people it was such a blessing to be there and worship together. There were nine different nationalities and we were all praising God together.
Many people came to us and said they were encouraged by us young people who came from around the world to minister to others.  This was such an encouragement to us because all we did was be with the people and minister to them.
Later that week we went to another city for ten days. There we visited a number of churches and performed our drama and gave testimonies.
The Friday of that week we found an English speaking church and it was so refreshing for our team to be able to communicate with the people and sing praise songs that we knew and understood.
Last week, we went to an orphanage for four days. We were able to do some practical work like clean the cafeteria and organize their library as well as play and love on the kids.  We were so welcomed there and hated to leave.
Samir and Lewiza have also been very busy.  They have been planning and preparing everything for us and it seems they are traveling everyday to churches to encourage people.
They just finished taping the programs for their ministry and have had a very long and exhausting six days.   Please continue to pray for them. We got to see a little bit of them in action and God has definitely gifted them for this type of ministry. They are very, very good at what they do.

PLEASE PRAY FOR TREKERS:
1) For God's continued protection,
2) For God's continued favor on our ministry,
3) For God to bless the new Arabic programs that are being aired on television,
4) For God to keep us from sickness, and
5) For the eyes of unbelievers to be opened.
