Hello everyone,
We are moving in a month!! But we still need to find a house. I don't know about you, but as we have been praying about this, we have a deep sense of peace that God has already arranged everything. We are the last people on our team not to have a house and we are heading down to Phuket for a short visit on August 18 to look together. The boys are going to be staying with the Ouellette family and we are so grateful to them.
Karlene and I have just finished our 8th module and are now going to start our final module for Year One. This does not mean that our language learning is going to end. But it does mean our time in Lopburi is close to an end.
The Griffioen family and Cynthia Friesen have already moved down to Phuket and have started the next phase of life here in Thailand. Praise God. The Ouellette family is moving in three weeks and then we will move in the middle of September.
Continue to pray for the great harvest to be brought in and that leaders would be raised up in the Thai church to bring in that harvest.
Another prayer request is a teacher (or 2) for all the O2W kids. We are still hoping that someone will come to teach from September '07 -June '08 in Phuket City. It does not have to be a certified teacher, but someone who is definitely interested in teaching kids and senses God is leading them to help in this way, this year. Please talk to others about this need and ask people to prayerfully consider it and then contact us.
We love you and pray that God would use you where you live and also use your prayers to change nations around the world.
