Dear Friends!

The days are much shorter and the rain is here! I guess we have to admit the summer is coming to an end and fall is setting in! There is something very special about the different seasons. I must admit I got a bit of a "cold" feeling knowing that we will be spending a good part of our winter in the cold prairies this coming Dec. until April. We hope you are planning on a really warm winter!!

Thank you for praying for our MINA (Ministry in North America) preparations. We are starting our MINA planning and scheduling visits in our churches there.

Thank you for your prayers for the Wels church camp that we were involved in last week. God is working in individuals there and helping them to really be "ECHT". (That means to be authentic and real; allowing God's image to shine through them.) God gave us much to share and wonderful times of fellowship. The 57 adults and children had many wonderful experiences together. Pray for the Wels church as they plan a "Street Festival" right in front of their church, now in Sept. Pray for contact to neighbours in the apartments that have been built right across from the church.

Pray as Richard and I prepare for a training week with Open Hearts Ministry, Sept.28 to Oct.6th in Germany. We, together with other lay leaders and trained counsellors, will be working with close to 60 adults from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Pray that God will work in the hearts of hurting people as they process abuse and painful experiences.

Pray for Eva and Roland who will be married on Sat. Sept.1st. Both say they are not yet believers but are very aware of the gift that Jesus is offering too them. Pray that they will say YES to a new life with Him.

Sometimes we get impatient in our work here and then God does miracles!!! Praise God with us; Hermine, prayed to ask Jesus to be the Saviour in her life. Her sister, a lady in the Salzburg church, led her to Jesus! Hermine is already 86 years old.

Thank you for your prayers!

Love in Christ, Hazel and Richard
