God is always surprising us!! We just finished evaluating our summer day camps and stand amazed at God's rich blessing. The dates chosen for our church to hold day camps this summer regrettably did not work for the average Japanese family. Very few people indicated that they would be attending and discouragement began to filter into the team. So we prayed. We invited you to pray. We discussed what God would have us do and moved forward in faith and expectation.

Thank you for praying! Church members stepped up and became one of the greatest service teams we have ever seen. The program ran effectively and efficiently. Many felt they were more able to focus on the kids than ever before. Despite our hesitancy to hold this summer program, God poured His blessing into it and lives were changed! Although there were fewer participants than planned for we rejoice that even a few were impacted.

One mom, whose child attended for the first time, joked that she didn't want to tell anyone about the program because she didn't want it to be spoiled by everyone coming next year! Praise the LORD for the impact on this family. Join us in praying for the salvation of the kids and families that participated this year as we continue to connect them with Jesus and our church.
