Celebrating Harvest In Peru
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
"Our time in Peru is over. It was a trip where we saw God's Holy
Spirit covering everything. As we focused, determined to serve God, we
were able to plant many seeds. I have just received news that four
young men and women that we worked with have accepted Christ and taken
upon themselves to take a discipleship program in the church! These
young people were actively involved with all the activities that we
held and were a great asset to our team because they were also willing
to serve Christ while we were there. I'm so excited and happy to hear
that it's only been a week and God has already nourished the seeds that
we planted. I'm asking all of you to keep these kids in your prayers as
they begin their life with a deeper relationship with God." ~ Jesse

was wonderful to see how the ACTION team connected to the young people
in our church and built many new relationships in the community. One
day we went to visit a home for mothers with children with AIDS and put
on a clown program for the kids. Out of that connection our church
continues to go there every Friday afternoon for activities with the
children and to spend time with the mothers. Praise the Lord for this
opportunity!

Four college students joined the Pradas in Lima where they spent
the majority of their time in unstructured relational ministry. Though
it was difficult to leave the North American, task oriented agenda
behind, the team embraced their role and was blessed in turn.
