Dear Prayer Warriors,

If we were to take off our human glasses and put on spiritual glasses and look over Phuket right now, we believe you would see an intense spiritual battle raging over this island.

This past week has definitely been a reality check for Phuket. We have been reminded at how life is so short. I don't know if you have been following the news or not. On Wednesday the earthquake in Indonesia lead to Tsunami alerts being raised in different parts of Phuket and other parts of Thailand. Many people living near the beach ran to high ground. But praise God that no Tsunami resulted. However, yesterday, a passenger plane crashed at the Phuket airport. 89 people have died in the crash.

In the moments that we heard that a tsunami may be coming and that a plane had crashed, we were stirred to ask Jesus, "What is our response?" What we heard was "Fight! Fight for the lives of those who are spiritually dead." The God who is all-powerful lives inside of us. "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." (2 Cor.10:4) God has given us power in him. He also tells us, "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." (John 14:13-14)

As we wrote in our last update, the cry for war is being raised. Will you join us in using the powerful weapon of prayer that God has given us to cry out for these people?

- Join us in proclaiming Ezekiel 37 over these people; that God's breath will enter them and that they will come to life in Jesus Christ.
- Join us in praying that God will comfort the families and friends of the many people who died in the plane crash. Pray that God will use this event in the lives of every one who is affected to draw them deep into relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray for the survivors. Pray that God will heal them, but not just physically. Pray that God will give them peace mentally and spiritually after all they have experienced and seen. Pray that God will give us and the church wisdom in how God wants us to respond to this.
- Pray that God will use the church to share his love with the people here, especially in this time. There is a strong spirit of fear on this Island. Pray that the people's eyes will be opened to the truth that there is freedom from fear through Jesus Christ.
- Join us in praying Psalms 24 over Phuket and over Thailand.
- Continue to pray for protection for us, especially spiritual protection. Pray that we will be clothed in God's victory every day and that we will keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.

Thanks for praying for us. We love how God uses different parts of the body of Christ to work together for his glory. We couldn't be here without you covering us in prayer.

May God's peace rest on you.
