We want to wish you a Blessed Christmas and pray that the year 2008 will be full of God's blessings for each of you! Thank you for blessing our lives with your faithful prayers, friendship and support.

The past few weeks since the beginning of December have been crammed full of so many end-of-year activities, that December 1st seems like months ago! Our junior high basketball teams placed 2nd and 4th at the Little 8 BB tournament, having improved greatly since last year. Ken was pleased with the witness of our PACA teams and coaches. Since then, we have attended the PACA and Calvary International Church Christmas programs, a wedding of a PACA graduate, the PACA Alumni homecoming, and our neighborhood Christmas party. Additionally, Ken arranged volunteer life guards for the PACA pool, supervised a soccer clinic and the pre-season volleyball and indoor soccer practices, and gave grades for all of his P.E. classes. Marilyn had cheerleading tryouts the first week in December, and since then has been preparing for the visit of her brother and family from California for Christmas. She has enjoyed decorating our house and baking special Christmas cookies to give to our neighbors and friends,as well as planning for a Christmas Day Dinner for 20 people in our home. We also take time to mentor, encourage, and do things with our Chinese friend Liz and her two sons who live near us.

In the midst of the holiday busyness of this time of the year, we have been reminded to keep in mind Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that (He is) God...," and that is our prayer for each of you in the coming year.
