 As a part of the acceptance process for ACTION:Winnipeg all participants are required to find a mentor and meet with them before the program and after you return.
Spend time in prayer, asking God who should be your mentor. Once you have asked someone and they have agreed, please complete the Mentor Covenant form and return to the Central Canada Office as a part of the process of applying for the program.

Next Mile Goer Guide
once their application has been accepted. The purpose of this Guide is
to help you prepare and unpack your experience so that you can discern
God's leading for your future.

How to use your Next Mile Resource:
- Obtain a Goer Guide.
- Each
participant will be given a Goer Guide in their Acceptance Package.
- Mentor Guide.
- Give your mentor the Mentor Guide which is found in your Goer Guide.
- Prepare for your mission.
- Read Chapters One through Six of your Goer Guide.
- Complete the fourteen Pre-Field Scriptural Journals.
- Meet with your Mentor two times before your mission trip.
- Go on your mission.
- Remember to bring your Goer Guide so that you can complete the fourteen On-Field Scriptural Journals.
- Debrief from your mission trip.
- Read Chapters Seven through Eleven of your Goer Guide.
- Complete the seven Post-Field Scriptural Journals.
- Meet with your mentor six times after you mission trip. Evaluations will be sent to you in February 2009 (six months after the program ends) to follow-up on your mentorship experience.
