Monday, July 14 - Tuesday, July 15, 2008 (2 days)

After Orientation, your daily activity will be a blend of group and family Ministry.  You will begin each day in worship, devotionals and teaching.  After lunch, your family will head out to your Ministry Assignment and return for supper.

We will serve as one Family Quest Team for our Ministry Assignment.

Click the Read More link for more details.
As a Family Quest team, we will serve with a specific ministry schedule that is made of the following three categories:
  • Emerging churches:  Helping make inroads into their neighborhoods through community service, children’s and sport evangelism.
  • Partnerships with inner-city ministries, and social services:  Providing the opportunity to share Christ’s compassion among the suffering through public outreach and PAX (aka Public Acts of Christ or Acts of Kindness).
  • Public prayer and worship: Being a catalyst for our witness in urban parks throughout the downtown core.
Whether we serve in community sports outreach, children's ministries or renovate a church building, yours and the lives of others will be forever changed.
Your Ministry Assignments will be a crash course on being obedient to God's call on your life. It will push you out of your comfort zone.  We encourage you to experience the joys and challenges of working as a family in a new way.

  • Mission du grand Berger (Good Shepherd): Running a french children's club, building relationships and sharing Christ's love, going on prayer walks and doing PAX and services in the community.
