Dear Friends!

As some of you already know we will be having Hazel’s dad’s funeral on Sunday afternoon. He fell last Sunday and broke his hip and he passed away on Tuesday at 4 am. His heart, kidneys and lungs just gave out. We will miss him very, very much but we are so thankful that he went to be with the Lord he loved and served. The verse that we have put on the front of the funeral bulletin is “Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove.”

James 2:17 (The Message) That describes dad’s life. He lived his faith! We celebrated his 90th birthday in Dec. We thank God that we were here when he passed away. We returned from Montana on Sunday evening.

Our time in the churches in Montana went so well. Thank you for the wonderful times that we had with you there! God is at work all over and what a joy for us to be able to be a part of that.

Praise God:
-For our safe travels in the past two months!
-For the times with dad and the birthday celebrations, before he went to his final celebration!! Family is such a blessing in times of sorrow.
-For the Gmunden church’s new facilities! The Sunday morning services will still be held at the school for the next year, but after that they can purchase more area in this building that they are now in.
-For all the love and care that we are experiencing from friends in this time of grieving!

Pray for:
-Strength and peace as we have the funeral for dad on Sunday afternoon.
-Continual protection as we travel to churches in the Saskatoon and Swift Current area.
-God’s speaking through us as we share of God’s work in Europe!

God bless you and keep you!

Richard & Hazel
