Hi Everyone!
We are celebrating three dreams come true today!:
1. The Charitable Foundation has finally been approved! We praise God with Karen and Ricky, Faa, Ying and Ganiga, and for all their perseverance and hard work over the last 3 years. The Foundation will enable us to buy land, help the Khmu ministry as well as enable us to receive more beautiful HIV children into the Abundant Life Home. Hallelujah!
2. “The Big Tent” is up on the empty parking lot beside The Life Centre! For a long time now our Centre has been too small. However a few months ago God gave Andy and Carmen a very clear vision of a tent. Since that day, they have worked hard to make this happen. This Easter Sunday we look forward to worshipping Christ outdoors with lots of room to celebrate!
3. The Leadership Training Program has begun! Today we were excited to welcome 2 Khmu from our Khmu churches, 1 man from Promise Church in Phinat, 2 young people from Angsila, 1 young man from the Abundant Life Home, 1 new leader in Training from Bethel church and 3 young women from The Life Centre.
Please pray for Dave and I and our Thai leadership team this week as we seek to disciple and open the Word of God to these very precious young men and women. Today one new believer said to me, “Ajaan Louise, what is Easter and what what will happen at church this Sunday?” Please pray for us as we depend on God to grow this next generation of leaders. We are asking God to make them fully devoted followers of Jesus. Amen!
I think this calls for a triple scoop ice cream celebration don’t you? Be sure to have one this week!
Thank you for praying for Buddhist people to experience the power and love of Jesus Christ. God is answering our prayers!
