Hello to everyone,
Thanks to all who prayed for us during our team retreat. We had a great time praying and discussing what form the church plant will take. But even as I say that, we realize that the most important thing is that God is at the center of all we do. We are so incredibly blessed to be here with the people on our team. Everyone seeks more and more to have their eyes fixed on Jesus.
Please be praying for this coming weekend. On Easter Sunday, the churches in Phuket are going to get together for a march through part of the city, praying as we go. The march will end at a popular park where we will pick up trash together to make the place a little cleaner. And then we will pray together as a group. This event is significant because there has not been a history of unity in the church here in Thailand. One of the things that God has burdened our team with is the unity of the church. We praise God for this step towards unity. Another really cool thing that recently happened is some reconciliation that happened between a church denomination and its former (and now current) governing organization. I don't know all the history, but there had been some strife for some twenty odd years, and now there is reconciliation. We praise God for this. Lord, unify us in Your Name and for Your Glory.
Your brothers and sister,
Kevin and Karlene, Tyler, Andrew and Jesse
