Dear Friends

Greetings from Guadalajara!  Even in the midst of life being full, God is gracious and grants me times of rest, rejuvenation and even some relaxation.  My heart, soul and mind are fed these days as I’ve just finished a study on the book of Daniel.  I have felt challenged, inspired and stretched throughout the study.

It has felt like a very busy season of life – one that I’ve enjoyed.  I enjoyed some family and holiday time at the end of February.  It was a real treat to have all of my family come here to GDL to see a bit of my life here, as well to spend a week together at the beach.  I was delighted to be able to meet my brand new niece and to be altogether as a family.  What a blessing and encouragement family is for me!

March brought change – Sandra and I moved!  We were looking for a bit more space than our apartment and ended up renting a house!  It’s been great to have this new space and to enjoy the many visitors that have been through here in the last month.  We’ve had weekly youth events hosted here and I’m excited to see how God continues to use this home as a tool for ministry.  My prayer to God has been that he would use this house as he desires.  Please note a change of address and phone number at the end of this letter!

My favorite part of ministry continues to be the discipleship aspect.  Besides meeting regularly with some of the TREK girls, I continue to meet weekly with Daniela – one of the Mexican youth.  It’s encouraging for me to see growth happen and for her to be seeking a healthy relationship with God.  Daniela and her brother continue to spend Saturday nights at our house and these are wonderful times together.  Pray with me for much wisdom and insight as I disciple Daniela, and pray for her as she works at dealing with hurts in her life.

There continues to be teams and groups in and out of Guadalajara.  This weekend an intercession team arrives and they will be with us for a week. They are coming primarily to pray for us as missionaries, for the churches, for the city and for Mexico.  Pray with us and ask that God would reveal himself to all of us here in a special way this week.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement in my life!
