September 8: Bob and Chris Davis
Bob and Christina Davis have been working alongside Louise Sinclair-Peters (Team
2000) and two Thai church planters at the Bethel Church plant near Chonburi. Ask
the Lord to show them daily who and how the Lord wants them to serve. Praise
the Lord for the following report: “We have seen some throw out their idols of their
own accord. We have seen them eagerly embrace the love of God, knowing life will
not be trouble free and that it may cost them troubles in their family. We have seen
faces changed from dark and clouded with sadness to reflecting the light and joy of
Christ’s love.” Pray for alert minds as they continue to learn Thai, for the Lord to
continually clarify their vision for ministry, and for many people to become followers
of Jesus as a result of their witness. |
