September 7: TREK
Participants in the Fall TREK program arrive in Abbotsford today to begin eight
weeks of training. After their training, teams of four to six people will be sent to
work with longer term MBMS International missionaries from November 2008 to
June 2009. Pray that participants will encounter Jesus in a significant way during
the training season, so that their hearts and lives are better prepared for serving in an
international context. Pray for Luke Haidle, TREK director, and Lori Nickel, TREK
administrator, as they provide leadership, counsel and vision for this program. As
missionary hosts prepare for TREK teams to arrive, pray that God will give them
insight into how to use these teams most strategically. |
