MBMSI Project Coordinator – upcoming trips to Congo
| Date | Details | | March 9-25, 2006 | - Bakerview team: second of 3 teams sent by Bakerview MB church in Abbotsford to help rehabilitate the buildings at UCKIN.
- MBMSI projects coordination talks with church leadership and Ray Harms-Wiebe
- Westside Community Church in Morden, MB sent out the Hoeppner family to examine economic support projects around Kikwit | | July 2-19, 2006 | - Bakerview team: last of 3 teams sent by Bakerview MB church in Abbotsford to help rehabilitate the buildings at UCKIN.
- JVI team: 5 members of Joseph Ventures International will be present to examine possible ventures and meet with JVI Congo.
- Medical team: Dr Mark Shelly will be joining us along with 2 medical students from UBC to teach at UCKIN, teach at a city wide CME conference, teach in Kikwit and meet with a group of Mennonite doctors. In addition, Ben Jeske, an experienced laboratory technician will be teaching microscope care as well as helping set up the donated microscopes that will be coming with us.
- Ernie Dyck will be in Congo to help with the elections and to review the progress of the CIDA project | Oct 4-17, 2006
