Biography: Galen grew up in Dinuba, California where he learned about Jesus, was baptized, and grew in his walk with God in the Kingsburg MB Church. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where he met his wife Linda.  He is also a graduate of Fresno Pacific University and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminar. Galen and Linda served 3 terms in Bogota & Medellin, Colombia with MBMSI where they were involved in church planting.  They were part of the missionary team that started the Community of Peace Church in Bogota. Before joining MBMSI to server as the RM, Galen pastored at Neighborhood Church, in Visalia, CA, as an Associate Pastor in Adult Ministries: Small Groups, Evangelism, Discipleship, as well as in Community and World Outreach.

Galen and Linda have 3 children.  Anna is married to Greg Lanson and they have an infant son, Isaac.  James recently married Alyssa McClure, and he serves as Jr High Pastor at Mountain View Community Church in Fresno.  Candace their youngest daughter is studying nursing at College of the Sequoias, in Visalia.  She recently got engaged to Michael Coldren of Visalia.
