Position: Mobilization Coordinator, North America Location: Western Canada - International Office Abbotsford, BC Project #: C0155 Biography: I have been on staff at MBMSI in a variety of roles for the past nine years. I started in 1998, as Heidi and I moved to the west coast of Canada to help out with the TREK program (10 month's long). TREK has become a great vehicle of discipleship and leadership training. I went on to lead the program for four years, which was an honor and joy. There still remains to me, no folks on earth who inspire me more than TREKers. For the past three years I have served as a Regional Mobilizer for Western Canada. As a mobilizer I have the great privilege of raising up prayer, people and funds for global church planting. I enjoy preaching and teaching in worship services, mission events, college campuses and youth settings of all sorts. I also spend much of my time talking long term and short term "mission strategy" with pastors and mission leaders from across BC. Along with that encouraging healthy relationships between missionaries and their supporting churches. Lastly, I help to facilitate all sorts of short term mission trips and programs which serve local churches by preparing mission teams for cross-cultural service. I love the MB family of churches in BC (we are about 111 local fellowships strong) and their growing vision to reach the whole world with the whole gospel. In the past two years, we have seen 5 families and 4 single people leave on long term church planting teams. Many many others have been called, coached and trained to serve on shorter term assignments of all shapes and sizes.
