MBMS International has a vision to see churches planted among the least reached people groups (Great Commission) where the church has a holistic witness bringing spiritual, emotional, social and physical transformation to lives, families and communities (Great Commandment). This is the gospel of the Kingdom. MBMS International begins with mobilizing resources within the MB churches in North America. The regional mobilization teams invite MB churches and members to serve in short term and long term missions, to pray for missionaries and to financially support holistic church planting work among our church planting teams and ICOMB partner churches. MB Churches are being engaged in mission and lives are being transformed through experiential mission. A new mission generation is being cultivated. The global church planting service provides holistic solutions so that communities are transformed as part of the church planting efforts of our missionary teams. Through sustained church planting efforts, groups of missional churchs can grow and reproduce themselves which lay the foundations for forming a conference which can become part of ICOMB. The capacity building service extends holistic church planting to effectively mobilize our existing churches within our ICOMB partner churches. Many different holistic projects are being supported by churches among least reached people groups. The training and team health service focuses on equipping and supporting new missionaries and the staff of the organization so that it is able to successfully complete its mandate of holistic church planting that transforms communities among the least reached. In a strong solution model, all of the services work together to build momentum towards the vision of the organization. Each service contributes in a unique way to reaching the vision for the future. Each service should be essential to achieving the desired vision. |
