MBMSI has a vision to see "holistic church planting that transforms communities among the least reached".
Our purpose is to operate global Christian mission programs by training and sending missionaries to all parts of the world, as well as financing mission programs in cooperation with international partners. This purpose is in response to the mandate given to us by Jesus Christ: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19

As a mission, we value dependency on Jesus, risk-taking obedience, transforming community, relational integrity and celebration. Our practices and strategy value the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, the least reached, holistic church planting, MB theology, the global MB family, prayer and God’s Word.

Church Planting Values |
|

MBMS International’s church planting efforts are a response to God’s call to participate in sharing the gospel among the least reached. Our strategy is to form international church planting teams that reflect the values of Jesus as they start churches. Holistic church planting means that these teams will lead people to Jesus and form communities of followers around Him in such a way that they experience growth and truth in all areas of their lives.

Prayer Values |
|
|
At MBMSI we are convinced the current season of mission ministry will not and cannot be effective in the spiritual transformation of churches and communities at home and abroad among the least reached apart from intercessory prayer. Prayer was the breath and life blood of the New Testament Church. After the ascension of Jesus in Acts 1 the Apostles and others “joined together constantly in prayer” (verse 14). As the church grew it is reported in Acts 2, “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (verse 42).

Mobilization Values |
|

We are mobilizing people and churches for increasing involvement in global mission. We are inviting people into short-term opportunities where they can progressively experience missions, work along side our long-term missionaries, and determine if God is calling them to serve as career missionaries.

The learning process, as ordained by God, takes place in real life. It must be both experiential and contextual for it to be transformational. In our Christian life and mission, we are transformed as we obey God’s voice over our lives.

Healthy people and teams bring transformation to the communities around them. With our emphasis on transforming communities we believe that ministering in healthy communities flows out of relational health. Who we are is as important as what we do.
