Member Care Values Print
Healthy people and teams bring transformation to the communities around them. With our emphasis on transforming communities we believe that ministering in healthy communities flows out of relational health.  Who we are is as important as what we do.

We believe that personal health (spiritual, emotional and physical), relational health (our marriages, our families, our communities), and team health (our co-workers, our prayer supporters, our financial supporters, our administrative partners) are all crucial to the long term effectiveness of God’s work in and through us.

We focus on providing pastoral care to our missionaries on site and in country, interceding with and for our missionaries and being Jesus to those around us by embodying the “fruit of the Spirit”. Galatians 5:22: “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

MBMSI Member Care Values:
1. We believe member care is an expression of God’s love for people.
2. We value people as our greatest resource. We start with people.
3. We believe God raises up and entrusts to this mission people to be invested in and equipped. (Phil 2:4)
4. We believe member care is a way of life, not an event. It is achieved in community. (James 4:11-12)
5. We commit to thinking and speaking the best of each other.
6. We believe holistic care begins with personal health. Becoming and staying healthy (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, relationally, financially & vocationally) is my responsibility and will determine my effectiveness.
7. We believe organizational health contributes to personal health and team health.
8. We believe in forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration resulting in healthy relationships with God and others.
