MBMS International. Transforming Lives In Mission

Approximate cost:  $1,100 + flights.  Campaigns may be added, rescheduled or cancelled based on participant response. Churches are encouraged to sponsor members on these short-term DMI missions.

Your assignment will be to accompany the foreign local co-workers door-to-door while they conduct their campaign, together you will share your testimony and present the plan of salvation. For those who respond to the gospel in a positive way, you will return with your partner for a follow-up lesson. You will be an encouragement and moral support to the local campaign worker. Most often you will attend follow up services at the local church. 

You will be asked to raise support to cover your campaign support for which you will receive an official charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes. The amount of support will vary depending on the campaign you wish to participate in. (see list of campaigns above)

You must be in good health and provide your own out-of-country medical insurance and travel accident insurance.

You will be responsible for any extra-curricular travel or activities you undertake while on a campaign that would be considered personal in nature and not specifically related to the campaign.

Most campaigns are approximately 2 to 3 weeks in duration, including international air travel. While the majority of time is spent on door-to-door campaigning,and returning to the homes of those who responded to the gospel for a follow-up lesson, there may be some time available to enjoy and learn about the local culture and environment.
