This fund supports the new missionary training center as it starts in Guadalajara, Mexico. The purpose of this ministry will be to train Latinos for missions, and to train interns from Colleges in North America who want to test out their gifts or calling in another culture, under careful supervision and training. Funds are needed to equip the training center, and to help subsidize Latinos who want to come and be equipped for cross cultural training. The first cross cultural training program will begin in September 2008 and it will be run from the Godard house, where they have a large training room for this purpose. The present needs are for the building that we would like to buy this year for 600,000 and for the training program needs to help subsidize Latinos (5,000). |
