Our primary area of mission in Portugal is church planting in the Lisbon area within the Association of Mennonite Brethren in Portugal and in partnership with LOGOS International.

Otto and Marjorie Ekk have been the country team leaders since 1992, and have seen much growth and many lives changed. They also give supervision to a growing church planting project among recent immigrants from Africa under the leadership of Mente Ntiama Marques and his wife Teresa.
The people of Portugal are friendly and caring. Portugal has a very rich history of World discoveries and exploration. One of the great passions of the Portuguese is a strong cup of coffee and a good soccer game.
