Biography: John and Ev have been involved in church and university ministry for 39 years. From 1970 - 9 they worked with students at UBC, SFU and University of Saskatchewan, with Campus Crusade for Christ. They have held pastoral roles in both Saskatchewan and B.C. John  has been involved in evangelism and outreach, counselling and prayer counselling and small group coordinator. He has also led support and recovery groups and served as volunteer chaplain in a women's prison and recovery home. He has counselled hundreds of couples preparing for marriage, and has helped many couples in troubled marriages. Besides raising three great kids, Ev has worked as a home care aide, receptionist, prayer counsellor, and, most recently, at Trinity Western University in the Human Resources and payroll offices.

John and Ev have been married for 39 years and have three grown children. Ev enjoys gardening, walking, playing piano and camping. John's interests include camping, cycling and yard work.
