Wow. We are enjoying the stunning beauty of FALL: fiery red, orange, and yellow leaves all around us here in the Fraser Valley. What a beautiful time of year! Wish we had a picture or two to show you, but nothing compares to the real thing, so maybe just step outside and soak it in. We have settled into some new rhythms of life since arriving back in Canada in August and are enjoying the change of pace. We are so encouraged by the way that our kids have settled into school. They are all really enjoying themselves. They are making new friends, and are reconnecting with dear old friends too. This is a wonderful blessing that we thank God for. Caleb took part in some cross-country running this past month, Luke is enjoying Friday night basketball, and Emma and Silas, along with Luke, are enjoying visits to the local wave pool. :) All of us are really enjoying regular (in some cases weekly!) contact with family on both sides!! Greg and I (and sometimes the kids too!) have been spending our time sharing about Thailand in churches & small groups. While most of our time is spent sharing, we have also jumped into a couple other things that we felt God was leading us into: Greg is enjoying taking part in Alpha at our church as well as being a part of a men's group that meets every week. And Becky is enjoying an intercessory prayer group, as well as a class through women's ministries at church. We have also had a few opportunities to join in on MBMSI's Fall training program - this has been a rich experience as we have mixed with others in similar life situations to us. It is good to be here.
Thank you for your prayers,
Greg and Becky |
