This general ministry development fund is used to support many different projects at MBMS International. Supporting this general fund is an important way to help us direct funds where needed most.

MISSIONS DEPARTMENT #1: This fund helps support the Brazzaville Church in Congo, along with Church Planting efforts in Bas Congo through Youth Mobilization.

*Needed: $2,000/month (USD)
MISSIONS DEPARTMENT #2:This project provides financial support for students to Panzi Bible Institute, Nzash Mwadi Center, and Kikwit Bible Institute. It also helps organize women through training in various types of projects. Outreach in the Kiri Forest to the Batwa people; Pastors and doctors working in the Great Lakes program in evangelism, medicine, and peace training to bring healing after years of war, which resulted in the death of 4 million of their own people; also outreach to the tribal people in the Teke Plateau.

*Needed: $1,900/mo (USD)
Church Extension Workers - Evangelism and Church Planting in unreached areas. Funding 25 evangelists to reach the unreached in villages around Andhra Pradesh. Each worker is responsible to share the gospel with five people per day, and reaches out to five villages.

New church plants and evangelistic preaching points have been established in three different villages. Two additional villages have small churches that are in the initial stages of development. This fund helps support a local evangelists and the supplies needed to carry out the work.

MB Centenary Bible Institute in Shamshabad - Leadership Training and Scholarship: these funds will help train and support future leaders of the MB Churches in India.

Support for Andrew and Olga Pritzkau in Berlin, and Reinhold and Ruthilda Plocher in Leipzig, serving as Pastoral couples in those new church plants.

Massama Church Plant - Assist the church with the cost of operarting the church facility and in the purchase of evangelistic materials to use in outreach and in events.

"Emanuel" School for Underprivileged Children in Colombia.

Congo Health and Development Fund is essential in enabling the MB church in Congo to manage and develop their communities in the areas of healthcare, through educational and economical support programs. Besides economic development in Kikwit, this fund provides support for several nursing schools which include, among others, Kajiji Hospital, Kanzombi Hospital, and Tembo Hospital. Portuguese Bible Institute Mentoring and Internship Program: Through mentoring and walking alongside these young people, a number of them are becoming more and more involved in ministry through seminars and Bible courses.

New Church Plant in Balkovo-Rueckenau— helps support Pastor Andrei and Marina Nestorov.

Mennonite Brethren Development Organization (MBDO) - help fund community development activities such as micro-enterprise and AIDS projects.

Center for Peacebuilding, Leadership, and Good Governance Development of capable leadership and conflict resolution training. Fund also provides support for Pascal Kulungu who established the Center and is heavily involved in it. This is a much needed aspect of the future of the Church in DR Congo, due to the many years of war and strife that this country has experienced.

MIHELDA Fund focuses on the importance of higher education and the potential for effective leadership development in this area. Presently, the fund focuses its resources on Christian University of Kinshasa. There are also a number of Leadership and Missiology Scholarship students supported through these donations, which is an integral component of the healthy development of the future of the MB Church in DR Congo. Pastor Ndala receives his stipend from the MIHELDA FUND.

This fund provides support for retired Congolese Pastors.

Bomoyi Ya Sika provides a home for abandoned children living in the streets of Kinshasa, DRC. Bomoyi Ya Sika educates primary and secondary aged children, grants access to vocational training for the older children, promises healthcare and adequate clothing, and assures a home. For children under 16 years of age, Bomoyi Ya Sika attempts to reunite children with their families or find a foster home. If this is not possible, the children stay in a home operated by Bomoyi Ya Sika. Older children are given vocational training and encouraged to be self-supporting.

New Delhi Project - Holistic church planting initiatives managed by our team in partnership with the India MB conference. This project would support counseling services, English language classes, coffee-house ministry, kids clubs, and assistance to an Indian MB Conference missionary and an intern.

Bethania Home for Children has around 25 orphaned or abandoned children who, upon high school graduation, are being sponsored through this fund to further their education.

Bethania Home for Children Special Projects. A new 24-seater van is being purchased to fill the urgent need at the Home.

Funds go towards an endowed faculty chair in Women's Studies at the Mennonite Brethren Centenary Bible Collage in Shamshabad, India

El Progreso Mission - church plant in Bogota ministering to those displaced by violence in their own country.

JVI Fund (Joseph Ventures International) - established to encourage Christ-like principles in business management and the responsibility of the business community to social development and church growth. Approved businesses are required to make an initial investment and pay a percentage of dividends to JVI which then reinvests into new businesses, medical clinics, educational institutions, or ministry.

Church Assist – this fund supports church related activity such as leadership and discipleship training, church building project, revival meetings, and supports a student at the Bible Institute.
