Evangelism among the Nanerige with recently translated scripture is having a huge impact on the community and surrounding villages. They now have scripture and teaching material in their own language.

Maliki Ouattara has been helping Phil Bergen with the scriptural translation into his native tongue, Nanerige.
Maliki was not a Christian when he started this work, but over the years the Holy Spirit convicted him of the truth of Jesus Christ. Maliki was recently baptised at the first baptism that area has ever had.
This project is under the direction of Phil & Carol Bergen along with Blaine and Michelle Warner, both MBMSI missionaries to Burkina Faso.
Pastor Madou and family: Pastor Madou came from a town further north to help evangelize his countrymen.
