Besides the regular weekly worship services, the El Progreso MB Church gives pastoral care, provides education and free meals to children of the displaced people, provides ministries for women, men, youth, and children on a weekly basis.
Their goal is to continue to grow as a holistic church, ministering to the poor and disadvantaged in one of the poorest neighborhoods of Bogota. They have a school and daycare on the premises. The pastor couple recently moved into the same building so that they are closer to the work they are so passionate about.

Top floor left is where the Pastor and his family now live so that they can be close to their ministry; bottom floor left is the church, middle section is the school, and the right section is the daycare:
These children would not go to any school were it not for the El Progresso school. Their families are too poor to pay the school fees:
