The aim of the Health and Development Fund is to provide training for our partners in DR Congo.  There are special projects the local churches want to embark on that would involve outreach and evangelism.  Leadership Training is a big part of this movement.

In this context the Fund encourages the development of local leadership and ability.   An effective process results in long-lasting leadership that continues on after the project is finished. 
The H&D Fund also encourages the involvement of North American Christians on a grassroots level: church-to-church, group-to-groups, person-to-person.  The fund is not only a means of deriving funds, but also a means of involving people, sharing skills and encouraging each other.
