JVI exists to encourage Christ-like principles in business management and the responsibility of the business community to social development and church growth.

Approved businesses are required to make an initial investment and pay a percentage of dividends to JVI which then reinvests into new businesses, medical clinics, educational institutions or ministry.   JVI hopes to establish at least 5 businesses in DRC with long-term sustainable practices and solid vocational callings meeting the goals and objective of JVI.  These include not only successful business but Christ-like leadership in the DRC business community displayed in part by the financing of local social and educational activities. 

Currently, there is this Pig farm that has benefited from the JVI funds:
