MBMS International. Transforming Lives In Mission

*Needed: $21,600 (USD) This project provides funding for the CEFMC (Congo MB Conference) when they have special projects relating to Leadership Training.  This includes bursaries within DRC.

To date, they have purchased motorcycles for their supervisory trips into the villages  that are difficult to get to. 

Some of the MB Leaders in DRC:

In October, 2009, there was a Leadership Conference in Kinshasa.  Several MB leaders from North America attended to give guidance and share their knowledge with our MB brothers and sisters in DR Congo.  MBMSI is asking that the North American MB community prayerfully consider contributing financially to this cause. 

The project also supports scholarship/bursary students at Kikwit Bible Institute and Nzash Mwadi Bible Institute, UCKIN (Christian University of Kinshasa), and CUM (Missiology University). 

UCKIN & CUM are both in Kinshasa.  It costs $660 to educate one student at UCKIN for one full year; and it costs $380 to support one student at CUM for one full year.

We are asking God for partners so that at least 5 students at each university can be supported.  Therefore, $3,300 is needed for UCKIN and $2,400 is needed for CUM.  Can you help?

Ideal Bieto Kingudi, scholarship recipient:  Ideal Bieto is a 4th year Theology student at UCKIN and plans to go into the ministry upon graduation.

Lola Bumba, scholarship recipient:  Lola is a student at CUM. She has a big heart for the unreached and will dedicate her time to missions upon graduation.
