Biography
The focus of our ministry is lay leadership development, primarily in Salzburg and secondarily with the six other Mennonite Churches in Austria. Thus we are involved in teaching, preaching, counseling and mentoring.

Our major focuses are pastoral duties and lay leadership development in the Salzburg Mennonite Church. We are also involved in leadership development and mentoring within the Austrian Mennonite Conference.
Austria shares a common border and language with Germany, but it has its own distinct customs and values. It is important for visitors to remember that Austrians are not Germans. Austrians view themselves as democratic, modern and liberal. They pride themselves in their many past cultural and scientific achievements. Religion is part of Austrian society, but for most the Bible is a closed and irrelevant book.
