SOAR Montréal (français) and SOAR Montréal Families is an opportunity for English and French speaking teams to experience and demonstrate the transforming power of Christ’s love in Quebec, North America's largest unreached people group.  Teams will work alongside developing churches, making inroads into their neighbourhoods through community service, Public Acts of Christ (aka: Acts of Kindness) and sport evangelism.  Partnerships with inner-city ministries will provide teams the opportunity to share Christ’s compassion among the suffering.

"I was surprised to be so spiritually renewed and changed from this service opportunity"

"It was a good stretch for our team to spend three hours together in the prayer room.  One of our students has started a prayer room in our church!"

"The worship times were the most powerful and meaningful moments" Leader, Innerkip, Ontario team

"The community ministry we did in Montreal was very challenging and different than what we could do at home." Leader, St. Catharines, Ontario team

"Our ministry host commented that our team was different than others they receive because of our maturity, worship and hearts to approach children and drive to show Christ's love.  MBMSI's orientation prepared us to have the attitude and vision for ministry." Leader, Innerkip, Ontario team

"Our team found it intimidating to hand out flowers and sandwiches, but soon found it to be the highlight of the week." Leader, Parksville, British Columbia team

"Walking the inner city with the street pastors was a highlight.  We were impacted by their love for the marginalized people."  Leader, Leamington, Ontario team

"The basketeball tournament was a huge success.  Many of the parents came out, curious about who we were and why we would spend a week in their community.  Our youth got a chance to share their testimonies with them." Leader, Kitchener, Ontario team

"We were not used to being in an environment of 0.5% Christian.  At first the ministry methods were tough to handle, but the church planter explained it well.  Our team soon realized that we need to go to the people, instead of the expecting them to come to us."  Leader, Innerkip, Ontario team

"The prayer van in the community was a highlight.  Though rejected at times, the team loved interacting with the community and asking for prayer requests." Leader, Innerkip, Ontario team

"SOAR Montreal exceeded all my expectations for our group"
