Biography

Jen has her roots in southern Manitoba as she grew up on a farm outside of Elm Creek, MB.  A 3 week trip to the Philippines while she was attending Bethany College first piqued her interest in cross cultural ministry.  Jen participated in a 10-month TREK during which she served in Colombia and first met the Godards.  A deep appreciation for the Latin culture was born out of that experience.  Jen also had the opportunity to work at Bethany College for a number of years serving as a Residence Director during which discipling and mentoring were key aspects of her role.  Jen is excited to combine both her appreciation for the Latin culture and discipleship as she begins to work in Mexico with the Matthew Team.

Team & Country Info

Jen is a part of the Matthew Team led by Godards and consists of Trever, Joan and Kenia Godard and Sandra Plett.  They are involved in three ministries in Guadalajara, Mexico.

1) They help coordinate all short term mission teams from any MB church or school in North America to any country of Latin America.
2) They are starting a new ministry called “The Matthew Training Center”, to equip potential missionaries from Latin America and also College interns from North America to go out to the nations.
3) The Matthew team is also helping the new MB church plant called RETO in Guadalajara.
