SOAR Montréal[français] is an opportunity for English and French speaking youth from across Canada to experience and demonstrate the transforming power of Christ’s love in Montréal. Youth will work alongside emerging churches, making inroads into their neighbourhoods through community service, Public Acts of Christ (aka: RAKs) and sport evangelism. Partnerships with inner-city ministries will provide the opportunity to share Christ’s compassion among the suffering. Jesus wept over the city, longing with his Father’s love for those like "sheep without a shepherd.’’
At SOAR Montreal, our desire is that you:

Learn how our lives can affect the needs of the poor and oppressed.

Montréal is a society that is longing for a relevant, compassionate expression of the kingdom of God. Our mandate is clear; We are followers of Jesus that are living the values of the Kingdom. I learned quite a bit on this trip to Montréal. I learned that the power of prayer is amazing. God also told me not to hold back when it comes to serving Him. It feels like we didn’t do enough on our assignment. Instead of us giving to Montréal, I feel Montréal has given to us.
